Roeder Consulting was engaged by the executive steering group of one of the largest regional amusement park operators in the world to assess their project execution methods and make recommendations on how they can improve construction operations and overall organizational strategies around project delivery success through a Project Efficiency Initiative.
Following Roeder Consulting’s Project Management Maturity assessment, the Roeder team engaged each line of business to gather current state processes and tools. We worked with the client on an overview discovery process then designed a detailed interview methodology to deep dive into how construction projects are executed. Interviewing national and international team members and executive leadership, Roeder discovered both current practices and desired improvements from wide perspectives. The assessment covered Strategic Alignment, Culture, PM skill levels, Tracking and Reporting, and Standards.
Roeder’s delivery of their comprehensive assessment results coupled with a future roadmap and execution plan enabled the executive steering group to fully grasp the scope and risk mitigating opportunities available in adopting a mature project and program management approach.
