Aviators Society
Aviation for Real Life
Roeder Consulting’s Aviators Society
For accomplished adults who fly to discover what’s next.
Flying Isn’t a Hobby. It’s a way of life.
You’ve built a successful life. You value mastery, independence, and meaningful experiences. You don’t pursue activities casually—you commit to them because they change how you live. For people like you, aviation isn’t just a pastime. It’s a mission.
Aviators Society is an exclusive community for accomplished adults who want flying to become a confident, integrated part of their lives—before, during, and long after flight training. We exist for people who don’t just want a pilot certificate on the wall, but the judgment, continuity, and community to use their flying well: to reach new places, see familiar landscapes from a new perspective, and turn time off into real journeys.
Our members join because they want aviation to add to their lives—not compete with them.
Roeder’s Philosophy: People First
At Roeder Consulting, we believe meaningful progress happens when people—not processes—are placed at the center of complex endeavors. Aviation is no different.
Nationally, most adults who begin flight training do not complete it. And those who stall rarely do so because of a lack of intelligence, discipline, or motivation. They stall because the process is fragmented, isolating, and poorly integrated with the realities of adult life.
Aviators Society addresses this challenge by focusing on alignment, continuity, and properly setting expectations at each phase of a pilot’s journey.
We believe:
- Learning to fly should feel structured, not scattered
- Progress requires momentum, not just motivation.
- Confidence is built through trust, reflection, and community—not adrenaline.
Aviators Society exists to provide the missing connective tissue that allows capable adults to finish what they start and carry aviation forward as a meaningful part of their identity.

What Aviators Society Is (and Is Not)
Aviators Society is a curated, peer‑driven community that supports the full aviation experience—from first aspirations, through key milestones, and into a lifetime of confident, purposeful flying.
Aviators Society is not a flight school. We do not replace instructors, aircraft, or training syllabi. We strengthen the experience surrounding them.
Aviators Society is a curated, facilitated community that supports the full aviation journey:
- Small peer cohorts that normalize the challenge of learning to fly alongside others with similar life demands
- A shared culture of professionalism and safety, built through conversation, reflection, and habit
- Experiential pathways that turn training into destinations—coastlines, mountain passes, iconic routes, and meaningful trips
Our work is informed by deep experience within structured training environments, including the Cirrus ecosystem (note: Aviators Society is an independent organization and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Cirrus Aircraft). This allows us to offer practical guidance that aligns cleanly with established syllabi and ongoing proficiency expectations.
This is also not an airplane club, and it’s not about thrill‑seeking. It’s about confidence, continuity, and discovery—earned the right way. Pilots and students from any aircraft background who share this approach to aviation are welcome.
What Aviators Society Provides
Aviators Society exists to support the entire aviation journey—from first aspirations, through training, and into a lifetime of confident, purposeful flying. We don’t replace flight schools, instructors, or formal training. We strengthen the experience around them by addressing what most capable adults actually struggle with: fragmentation, isolation, and loss of momentum.
- A clearer, more reliable path to completion for aspiring pilots (data-based expectation “maps” for each step of the journey)
Aviators Society provides structure beyond the syllabus—helping student pilots, and those seeking additional ratings, maintain momentum, navigate plateaus, and connect training to real‑world purpose so capable adults finish what they start.
- Sustained momentum before, during, and after certification. (private Slack Channel for 24/7 correspondence)
Rather than treating the checkride as the finish line, Aviators Society creates continuity across the full arc of flying—supporting rhythm, follow‑through, and long‑term engagement once formal structure fades.
- An intimate, high‑trust community for aspiring and current pilots. (live monthly virtual metings faciliated by expert CFI’s)
Members join small, peer‑driven cohorts where aviation is normalized alongside demanding professional and family lives—reducing isolation and reinforcing confidence through shared experience.
- Judgment, professionalism, and safety as living habits. (a shared cultural foundation across all memnbers)
Beyond minimum standards, the community emphasizes preparation, decision‑making, reflection, and safety culture—developed early and reinforced continuously through peer norms and conversation.
From procedures to purposeful flying. (thoughtful road maps for mission-based flying)
Aviators Society helps pilots connect skills to destinations—turning training and proficiency into meaningful trips, exploration, and confident real‑world use of aviation.

The Result
Aviators Society members don’t just earn a certificate or stay current. They build an aviation identity—and belong to a community of peers who value doing things well.
For aspiring pilots, it answers: “How do I finish this and make it stick?”
For licensed pilots, it answers the question many quietly ask after the checkride: “How do I use this to best fit my busy life—and keep using it well over time?”
